UIS Mock Trial team wins first rounds of 2024-25 season
The University of Illinois Springfield Mock Trial team secured victories in its first rounds of the 2024-25 season at the Illinois State University Invitational, held Nov. 1-3. The event featured 30 teams from seven states and is recognized as one of the most competitive invitational tournaments leading up to the regional rounds in February 2025.
UIS Closes Regular Season with Commanding Win Against Lewis
The UIS women's soccer team delivered a dominant performance on Sunday, defeating Lewis 3-0 at Kiwanis Stadium. With this victory, UIS closes out the regular season at 8-6-3 overall and 8-5-1 in the GLVC, marking the program's first-ever season with eight conference wins. Lewis falls to 3-13-1 and 3-11-0.
