UIS makes it easier for transfer students to complete their bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapps
The University of Illinois Springfield is making it easier for community college transfer students to complete their bachelor's 69ÂÜÀòapp through a partnership with the National Association of System Heads (NASH).
By applying NASH's improvement science model, UIS has completed three action cycles that focused on closing gaps in the transfer process to increase the two-year to four-year transfer rate and bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapp completions.

I am pleased to share that Dr. Miriam L. Wallace has been named the new dean of the UIS College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. She will serve as dean-designate until formal approval by the Board of Trustees and is expected to start in her new role July 1.

Cassandra Goudreau awarded a $36,000 University of Illinois Springfield scholarship
Cassandra Goudreau of Woodstock, Illinois, a recent graduate of Woodstock High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $36,000 Capital Scholars Honors Program Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she plans to major in marketing. Â
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
