Message from the Interim VCAA/Provost: University Personnel Committee Results
Dear Faculty and Staff —
The election to fill vacancies on University Personnel Committees was conducted in accordance with the Faculty Personnel Policy, Article 2. Section 3, and the following individuals have been elected to serve:
Campus Promotions Committee: 2 at-large positions expiring 25/26

Tenure Review Committee: 2 at-large positions expiring 25/26
UIS English instructor Jennifer Whalen’s first book of poems earns Lightscatter Press Prize
University of Illinois Springfield English Instructor Jennifer Whalen’s first book of poems has been selected by the poet Rick Barot for the 2022 Lightscatter Press Prize. Her book, “Eveningful,” will be available for purchase in spring 2024.
Whalen is a poet and educator from the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her poems have been published in Gulf Coast, Denver Quarterly, Southern Indiana Review, New South, Glass: A Journal for Poetry, The Boiler, Grist and elsewhere.

Thank you for submitting your Intent to Participate form. You’ve officially notified us that you plan to attend Commencement! The last step in the process is to order your regalia. All students participating in Commencement must wear a black cap and gown (known as regalia).
