Ella Brinkley Appears on NFCA DII Player of the Year Watchlist
Ella Brinkley, the senior third baseman for the UIS softball team, has earned a spot on the 2025 NFCA Division II Player of the Year watchlist. A total of 116 student-athletes from across the country were revealed as part of the list, announced on Thursday.
UIS Softball Set to Face UMSL on Friday, Lincoln on Sunday
The UIS softball team will continue Great Lakes Valley Conference action this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders. The Prairie Stars will travel to St. Louis to take on Missouri-St. Louis on Friday afternoon before heading to Jefferson City, Mo., on Sunday for a pair of games against Lincoln.
