Many  of  you  received  the  emergency  notification  from  Sangamon  County  on  your  cell  phones  this  morning,  and  we  wanted  to  remind  you  of  our  current  communication  options  on  campus  while  the  cellular  outage  continues.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">As  many  of  you  are  already  aware,  several  mobile  phone  companies  are  experiencing  widespread  network  issues  nationwide.  Cell  phone  service  is  sporadic  at  best  for  many  customers.



UIS'  phone  carrier  is  AT&amp;T,  which  is  one  of  the  impacted  companies.  UIS  users  may  experience  issues  making  and  receiving  off-campus  calls  from  campus  phones.  Using  Zoom  or  Teams  may  be  an  option  for  those  who  are  having  trouble  making  calls.



ITS  is  closely  monitoring  the  situation.</div>
