        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  is  making  it  easier  for  students  at  three  local  community  colleges  to  continue  their  education.



Starting  with  the  Fall  2024  application  period,  UIS  will  waive  the  $50  application  fee  for  transfer  students  applying  from  Lincoln  Land  Community  College  in  Springfield,  Richland  Community  College  in  Decatur  and  Illinois  Central  College  in  East  Peoria.</div>

Good  morning,  UIS!



The  snowfall  at  the  end  of  last  week  is  a  good  reminder  that  winter  is  still&nbsp;with  us.  Thank  you  to  our  Facilities  and  Services  employees,&nbsp;who  we  rely  on  in  the  worst  conditions  to  clear  roads,  parking  lots  and  sidewalks  to&nbsp;help  us&nbsp;safely  work  and  learn.  We’re  only  one  month  away  from  the  first  day  of  spring&nbsp;—&nbsp;not  that  I’m  counting!</div>
