        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  Alliance  for  Experiential  Problem-Based  Learning  has  been  awarded  a  $699,190  federal  grant  to  develop  tolerance,  diversity  and  anti-bias  training  for  law  enforcement.  The  funding  was  awarded  by  the  U.S.  Department  of  Justice’s  Office  of  Community  Oriented  Policing  Services  (COPS  Office)  with  support  from  U.S.  Senator  Dick  Durbin.</div>

Our&nbsp;Fall  Employee  Information  Session  is  TODAY&nbsp;from&nbsp;2:30  to  4  p.m.  in  Brookens  Auditorium.&nbsp;This  session  will  focus  on  budget  and  enrollment,  with  presentations  by  Drs.  Ken  Kriz  and  Vickie  Cook.  Following  the  presentations,  we  will  answer  audience  questions.



I  look  forward  to  seeing  as  many  of  you  as  possible  at  this  opportunity  to  share  and  discuss&nbsp;important  information  about  our  university.  Light  refreshments  will  be  available  following  the  meeting.&nbsp;</div>
