Today’s  chill  in  the  air  is  a  reminder  of  how  quickly  the  end  of  Fall  semester  is  approaching.  These  next  couple  of  weeks  look  to  be  busy  on  campus,  with  Halloween  and  fall  festivities,  engaging  speaker  presentations,  Veterans  Day  programming,  and  an  Open  House  for  prospective  students.         <div  class="newsletter-txt">On  October  3rd,  2023,  students  from  UIS  presented  their  historical  research  at  the  Conference  of  Illinois  History,  located  at  the  Abraham  Lincoln  Presidential  Library  and  Museum.  This  research  came  from  Dr.  Peter  Shapinsky’s  HIS  486:  Exhibiting  Asia  course,  in  partnership  with  the  Illinois  State  Museum.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Office  of  Research  and  Sponsored  Programs  have  introduced  a  new  program,  “Building  Research  Partnerships  at  UIS  and  Beyond.”  The  objective  is  to  foster  connections  between  UIS  faculty  and  external  researchers  working  on  similar  projects.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">WHAT:  Innovate  Springfield,  the  University  of  Illinois  Springfield’s  downtown  business  incubator,  and  the  Community  Foundation  for  the  Land  of  Lincoln  will  present  a  conversation  on  “The  Next  Technology  Revolution”  with  Springfield  native  Cully  Davis,  vice  chairman  for  equity  private  markets  at  Jeffries.</div>

You  may  pay  for  i-cards  and  photos  with  a  debit  or  credit  card,  or  with  Apple  Pay  or  Google  Pay.  For  replacement  i-cards,  you  may  also  pay  with  Campus  Cash.
