Financial Aid Awareness Month - Where can I go to find financial aid?
Besides federal grants and loans, where can I go to find college financial aid?
Students can receive financial aid from state agencies, individual schools, and a variety of community organizations. Most schools have their own financial aid programs and use your FAFSA results for those, too. Visit isac.org for information on state funded programs.
Financial Aid Awareness Month - How soon do I need to file the FAFSA?
How soon do I need to file the FAFSA, and should I still apply if I think my family makes too much money?
There is no harm in applying even if you think your family makes too much money. It may be worthwhile to complete the FAFSA to determine what federal, state, and institutional aid you qualify for. Visit FAFSA Myths to see financial aid myths de-bunked.

I hope everyone enjoyed the dose of sunshine we got this weekend! I was glad to be back in Springfield last week following a busy three days in Chicago the prior week for Board of Trustees activities. This week is the Investiture at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and I’m so grateful to everyone who is working hard to make this a special event.
