Track  and  field  heads  to  Louisville,  Ky.,  for  the  Bellarmine  Invite.  The  Prairie  Stars  tennis  teams  face  SWIC  in  a  home  scrimmage,  then  women's  tennis  travels  to  Illinois  State  for  an  exhibition  match  on  Sunday.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  basketball  team  triumphed  over  Rockhurst,  81-73,  in  a  closely  contested  battle  at  the  Mason-Halpin  Field  House  in  Kansas  City,  Mo.  The  win  improves  the  Prairie  Stars'  record  to  9-8  overall  and  4-5  in  the  GLVC,  while  the  Hawks  fall  to  12-5  overall  and  6-3  in  the  GLVC.</div>

The  Prairie  Stars  dropped  to  3-14  overall  and  2-7  in  the  GLVC,  while  the  Hawks  improved  to  5-10  overall  and  3-6  in  the  GLVC.</div>
