        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  women's  cross  country  team  raced  at  the  NCAA  DII  Midwest  Regional  Championship  on  Saturday,  Nov.  9,  at  the  Lewis  Cross  Country  Course  in  Romeoville,  Ill.  The  Prairie  Stars  finished  13th  in a  tough  field  of  competition,  including  several  top-10  nationally  ranked  programs  and  regional  powerhouses.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  volleyball  team  earned  a  thrilling  four-set  victory  over  UMSL  on  Saturday  afternoon  to  celebrate  Senior  Day.  The  Prairie  Stars  improve  to  17-8  overall  and  7-4  in  GLVC  play,  while  the  Tritons  drop  to  17-7  and  6-5  in  conference.  With  the  win,  UIS  has  secured  its  spot  in  the  GLVC  Tournament.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  volleyball  team  picked  up  another  win  on  Friday  night  as  they  swept  McKendree  at  TRAC.  With  the  win,  the  Prairie  Stars  improved  to  16-8 overall  with  a  6-4 record  in  the  GLVC.  The  Bearcats  drop  to  9-14  overall  with  a  4-6  conference  record.
