        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  men's  soccer  team  kicks  off  their  season  in  Hammond,  Ind.  on  Sunday  against  Purdue  Northwest  at  1:30  pm.  This  non-conference  matchup  is  the  fourth  time  that  these  two  have  faced  off  against  each  other.  PNW  won  2-1  in  Hammond  in  2023.

The  Prairie  Stars  controlled  both  matches  from  start  to  finish  in  their  2-0  start  to  the  2024  season.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Guidelines  and  Instructions  for  Applying  for  CSAC  Professional  Development  Funding  for  FY  2025



The  Civil  Service  Advisory  Council  (CSAC)  is  pleased  to  announce  that  FY2025  funding  has  been  made  available  to  assist  Civil  Service  Employees  (CS)  at  UIS  with  professional  development.&nbsp;Any  CS  employee  employed  with  a  50%  (minimum)  appointment  may  apply  for  up  to  $1,200  to  use  toward  any  aspect  of  past&nbsp;or  future  professional  development  occurring  during  the  2025  fiscal  year  (July  1,  2024  –  June  30,  2025).</div>
