Lily Stanton of Jenks, Oklahoma awarded a $28,000 scholarship from the University of Illinois Springfield
Lily Stanton of Jenks, Oklahoma, a senior at Jenks High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $28,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will play on the women’s golf team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
Biennial Job Description Update 2022
Per the State University Civil Service System statute, all Academic Professional and Civil Service job descriptions are required to be reviewed and updated at least every three years, including the signatures of the incumbent and supervisor. In order to comply with this statutory mandate, UIS must collect job descriptions by the end of this calendar year. We are excited to utilize our new JDXpert system for this process. Samuel Moore of Moweaqua awarded a $28,000 scholarship from the University of Illinois Springfield
Samuel Moore of Moweaqua, a senior at Central A&M High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $28,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in accounting.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
At Central A&M High School, he is a member of the student council, student government, National Honor Society and the scholastic bowl team.
UIS Student Affairs staff and programs receive awards at Region V ACUI Conference
University of Illinois Springfield Student Affairs staff and programs were honored with awards at the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Region V Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, October 27-29, 2022.
Marie Watson, associate director of student life, received the Inspiring Vision Award for mid-level professionals.
