Mitch  Pugh  has  been  named  executive  editor  of  the  Chicago  Tribune  after  eight  years  in  the  same  role  at  The  Post  and  Courier  in  Charleston,  South  Carolina.  His  first  day  will  be  Aug.  30.</div>
