UIS and LLCC enhance transfer admission agreement
Leaders from the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) and Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) signed an agreement today enhancing their partnership to ensure a smooth transition for LLCC students to complete bachelor’s 69ÂÜŔňapps at UIS. The agreement also allows UIS students to utilize reverse transfer credits to complete associate 69ÂÜŔňapps.

Dear UIS Students, Faculty and Staff —
I am writing to confirm our COVID-19 requirements for Fall 2022. For the past two years, UIS has been United in Safety as we’ve responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are most grateful to be out of the emergency phase of the pandemic—thanks to vaccines, rapid testing and therapeutics—and are excited to be ushering in a new academic year later this month.

UIS to co-host special Star Party viewing of the Perseid meteor shower
WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield Astronomy-Physics Program, Lincoln Memorial Garden and the Sangamon Astronomical Society will host a special Star Party to view the annual Perseid meteor shower.
