On Thursday, February 1, at halftime of the men's basketball game, any student-athlete (regardless of sport)聽who has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher will be introduced.聽The seniors who will be introduced have been asked to select the UIS聽faculty or staff member who has been most influential during the student's time here. That faculty member will be introduced along with the student.聽If you are asked 鈥� congratulations! Please accept only one invitation if you get asked by multiple seniors.

Due to icy weather conditions, UIS in-person classes are canceled for Monday, Jan. 22. Online classes are not canceled and will still meet. In addition, the Liberal Leave Policy is in effect for employees.

Please be aware that Parking Lot E will be closed from early morning through 12:00 PM on Monday, January 22 so that school children may safely enter the UIS Performing Arts Center for the Staley Class Acts performances of Number the Stars.

If you have consented to receive your Tax Form(s) electronically by the deadline January 15, 2024, 10:59pm CST, the forms that are issued to you by University of Illinois are now available.
Important Note: Electronic access to tax forms will not be available, regardless of consent, for those attempting to access the forms OUTSIDE the U.S. Likewise, if you recently received your Social Security Number and did not have it updated to your employee record by December 31, 2023, you will not have access to the online tax forms.
