The SHIELD COVID-19 testing site on campus will be closed Monday, Oct. 10, due to a lab closure. The site will re-open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

These pages provide the text of the statutes which require children to be vaccinated. It also includes the regulations made by the Department of Public Health pursuant to the Illinois General Assembly delegating the authority to make rules. In short, the laws require all students to present proof of immunization to their schools.
Medical Excuse Policy
Health Services does not provide medical excuses for missed classes, exams, assignments, or work on/off campus. The decision for our policy is based on our limited resources, which are better dedicated to providing health care; the inability for us to make valid determinations about illnesses or injuries students may have managed through self care at home; and our commitment to student privacy.
