NPR Illinois 50th Anniversary Exhibit Opening

Join NPR Illinois and Sangamon Experience for a special evening that celebrates 50 years of public radio at 69ÂÜÀòapp Springfield. Special guest Michel Martin from NPR's Morning Edition will be on hand as we open an exhibit that chronicles the first half-century of the station's history. "Radio That Listens to You: 50 Years of NPR Illinois" will explore the hardships and joys of keeping local news reporting alive.

Raising Politically Engaged Kids: Constitution Day Community Panel

The Center for State Policy & Leadership and Springfield Public Schools District 186 are partnering to present a special community panel for Constitution Day 2025. Please join us on September 16th for a discussion on "Raising Politically Engaged Kids." Panelists will include Dr. Lindsey Cormack, author of How to Raise a Citizen, and Terrance Jordan, Director of School Leadership and Family & Community Engagement for District 186.
