        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  Innovation  Center  will  lease  space  at  Horace  Mann’s  downtown  Springfield  campus  to  expand  programs  that  support  economic  development  in  the  region.  The  2.5-year  lease  will  allow  the  center  to  broaden  programming  and  services  focused  on  innovation,  entrepreneurship  and  collaboration.  The  move  is  expected  to  be  completed  by  September.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Nine  UIS student-athletes  were  named  to  the  2025  Academic  All-District cross  country/track  and  field  teams,  as  announced  Tuesday,  June  24,  by  College  Sports  Communicators  (CSC).  Nomination  criteria  include  a  regional  top-50  finish  in  cross  country  and  rankings  in  indoor  and  outdoor  track  and  field  events.  Additionally,  student-athletes  must  maintain  a  3.50  cumulative  GPA  and  be  of  at  least  sophomore  status.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Innocence  Project,  based  at  the  University  of  Illinois  Springfield,  announced  the  full  exoneration  of  six  clients  in  Cook  County  today  after  they  collectively  served  124  years  in  prison  for  a  murder  they  did  not  commit.</div>
