Earl Lewis Joins UIS Men's Basketball Coaching Staff
The UIS men's basketball program has announced that Earl Lewis will join the coaching staff at UIS for the 2024-25 season. Prior to starting his coaching career at Whitewater high school, he finished his playing career at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he helped his team to a WIAC tournament championship and a berth in the 2023 NCAA Division III Final Four.

The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present “From Here to the Sun,” a mixed-media exhibition by Champaign-based artist Lee Hunter. “From Here to the Sun” will open Monday, Aug. 26 and run through Thursday, Sept. 19. A reception for this exhibition will be held at the gallery from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5. This event is free and open to the public.
