        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  2024  ABCA/Rawlings  NCAA  Div.  II  All-Region  teams  and  Regional  Players  of  the  Year  were  announced  on  Wednesday  morning.  The  teams  are  voted  on  by  members  of  the  American  Baseball  Coaches  Association  and  the  process  is  led  by  the  ABCA  NCAA  Div.  II  All-America  &amp;  Coach  of  the  Year  Committee.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield’s  Harry  and  Deborah  Berman  Sabbatical  Award  has  been  presented  to  Mohammed  Mohi  Uddin,  associate  professor  of  accounting,  economics  and  finance  in  the  College  of  Business  and  Management.  He  will  receive  $3,000  to  support  research  during  his  sabbatical  leave.</div>

Good  morning  UIS,



I  hope  you  had  a  restful  holiday  weekend  and  that  you  enjoyed  a  well-deserved  chance  to  relax  and  recharge.  It’s  the  perfect  time  to  step  back,  reflect  on  the  achievements  of  the  past  academic  year  and  prepare  for  exciting  opportunities  ahead.  As  a  reminder,  this  is  my  last  bimonthly  newsletter;  you’ll  only  hear  from  me  once  in  July  and  August,  respectively. </div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">University  of  Illinois  Springfield  women's  golfer  Elaine  Grant  competed  in  the  2024  NCAA  Division  II  National  Championship  this  week  in  Winter  Garden,  Fla.  Grant  finished  T63  in  her  career-first  national  tournament  appearance.  She  was  part  of  a  98-golfer  field  that  played  54  holes  on  the  Panther  Lake  Course  at  Orange  County  National.</div>
