        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Josslyn  Gaona  led  the  Illinois  Springfield  women's  track  and  field  team  with  a  first-place  finish  in  the  800-meter  race  at  the  Big  Blue  Alumni  Invite,  hosted  by  Millikin  University.  The  Prairie  Stars  recorded  multiple  top-10  finishes  across  various  events,  including  strong  performances  in  the  1500  meters  and  high  jump.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  softball  team  picked  up  a  pair  of  wins  against  Missouri-St.  Louis  on  Friday,  taking  the  first  game  3-2  and  then  prevailing  6-4  in  nine  innings.  UIS  improves  to  21-12  overall  and  9-5  in  GLVC  play,  while  UMSL  drops  to  11-16  overall  and  4-8  in  the  conference.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  baseball  team  secured  two  convincing  victories  over  the  Lincoln  Blue  Tigers  on  Friday,  winning  24-8  in  a  run-rule  shortened  seven-inning  game  and  13-6  in  the  second  contest,  which  was  scheduled  for  seven  innings.  UIS  improved  to  14-10  overall  and  8-5  in  GLVC  play,  while  Lincoln  fell  to  2-24  overall  and  0-10  in  the  conference.</div>
