Students  and  alumni  from  the  hosting  institutions  as  well  as  community  members  are  invited  to  attend  the  free  online  event  to  explore  career  opportunities  and  network  with  participating  employers.&nbsp;&nbsp;

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The University  of  Illinois  Springfield Visual  Arts  Gallery is  pleased  to  present  a  “Visual  Arts  Faculty  Exhibition”  in  conjunction  with  programs  that  celebrate  UIS’  50th  anniversary.  The  exhibition  will  open  on  Monday,  March  8,  and  will  run  through  Thursday,  April  15.  There  will  be  no  public  reception  for  this  exhibition.</div>

Only  one  UIS  student  is  honored  with  the  prestigious  award  each  academic  year.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">University  of  Illinois  Springfield&nbsp;junior  guard&nbsp;Lauren  Ladowski&nbsp;was  named  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  women's  basketball  player  of  the  week  for  the  first  time  in  her  career  on  Monday.



Ladowski,  a  5-foot-7  Lake  Central  High  School  graduate  from  St.  John,  Indiana,  became  the  school's  all-time  leader  in  made  free  throws  against  Rockhurst  and  eclipsed  the  1,000-point  career  milestone  against  Southwest  Baptist.</div>
