Teagan Ross chose 69ĀÜĄņapp Springfield for ā€œthe small campus environment combined with the abundance of opportunities and programs.ā€ She is president of Kappa Delta Pi (the International Honors Society in Education), sweetheart for Delta Kappa Epsilon, a member of Psi Chi (the International Honors Society in Psychology), a board member for the Student Organization Funding Association (SOFA), a resident assistant in Lincoln Residence Hall and a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program. ā€œMy favorite part about UIS is all of the people I have met and opportunities I have gained,ā€ she said. ā€œI have so many memories and experiences I can treasure for the rest of my life and hold onto for my future career.ā€ Following graduation from UIS, she hopes to teach either second or third grade. In the future, she hopes to earn a master’s 69ĀÜĄņapp and doctorate in education.
