Come out and enjoy the 10th Annual Prairie Stars 5K—a flat, easy run/walk through the beautiful UIS campus!
Held in conjunction with Homecoming Week, this fun and active event is a great way to show your school spirit. Grab a friend (and/or your dog!) and join us for a morning of movement and celebration. Participants will receive a race t-shirt, a Scheels cinch sack, post-race refreshments and snacks, and a chance to win door prizes.
We offer male, female, and non-binary divisions, with awards given to the top three finishers in each age category within each division, as well as to the overall winners.
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Time: The race starts promptly at 8:30 AM. Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early.
Location: TRAC. The start/finish line is in Lot I.
Registration: $10 for UIS students and $20 for all others. Prices increase on September 12.
