Please be advised that mandated inspections of the campus fire sprinkler systems are scheduled for the upcoming week of December 18th.

Hello campus faculty and staff:
There are multiple versions of file supplies, three-ring binders, and other useful supplies located in UHB 1054. Our goal is to have the excess supplies moved from that space as soon as possible. If you have use for any of the items listed below, please remove, and take possession of them by Friday, December 15, 2023. The space will be open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Otherwise, on Monday we will begin the surplus and disposal process for the remaining items.

Current Required Training - Due December 21, 2023 (You may have already completed this quarterly training.)
On Wednesday, December 13, the ID Center鈥檚 hours will be 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Online services such as Campus Cash deposits will remain available. Regular hours and in-person services resume the following day on Thursday, December 14.

SNOW REMOVAL AND PARKING
This winter there will be times after a significant snowfall where Facilities & Services will need your help as they work to clear parking lots of snow. The university鈥檚 overall goal is to provide the UIS community with safe and accessible parking after a significant snowfall. Working together, we can make this happen by implementing a 鈥淪now Parking Day鈥� after a significant snowfall.
All faculty and staff are invited to a Holiday Happy Hour from 4-5 on December 19 in the Student Union Ballroom. There will be music, drinks and appetizers to celebrate the season! Release time will be in effect for this event. To help us plan for the festivities, please register using the link below.
