The Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) is pleased to announce that FY2024 funding has been made available to assist Civil Service Employees (CS) at UIS with professional development. Each status CS employee employed at least 50% time may apply for up to $1,200 to use toward any aspect of past or future professional development occurring during the 2024 fiscal year (July 1, 2023 鈥� June 30, 2024). Examples include subscriptions to journals, conference and meeting registration, conference travel, workshops, and online training materials.

While this event is called APAC the House, of course we鈥檇 be more than happy to welcome our civil service and faculty colleagues. Admission is FREE for employees and children 12 and under. All general admission is $8 for other family and friends above 12 years old that wish to attend.

Chancellor Gooch has announced the 2023-24 membership of the Chancellor鈥檚 Intercollegiate Athletic Advisory Committee (IAAC). The IAAC is chaired by Dr. Marcel Yoder and made up of faculty, student-athletes, staff and administrators of UIS. Its charge is to facilitate collaborative communication and counsel for the athletic department on matters relating to student-athlete academic welfare, academic integrity and the educational objectives of the university.

The University Senates Conference (USC), in conjunction with various stakeholders of 69萝莉app System, has proposed significant changes to the Code of Conduct. USC has requested feedback on this new University of Illinois System Values and Principles for Conduct document from each University within the System, to be collected by the respective Campus Senate.

The UIS Police Department will be conducting a brief lockdown test of the swipe card door access system from 8:45am until approximately 9:00am on Thursday, November 16. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This test will not include any testing of the audible notification systems. If you have any additional considerations that may require access to swipe card doors during these times, please contact our department in advance via e-mail or phone.
