Nomination Forms Available for CSAC Election
CSACprovides a communication link between Civil Service employees, the Director of Human Resources, the Chancellor, campus-wide, university-wide, and state-wide groups. All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.
This is an annual reminder that your employees may be eligible to participate in an alternative or flexible work schedule, operations permitting, in accordance with applicable policies, rules, and collective bargaining agreements.
The alternative or flexible work schedules for Summer 2025 have a window between 05/11/2025 and 08/16/2025.
The May 2025 UIS Human Resources Newsletter highlights two key updates: the Protection of Minors Event Form is now fully online, streamlining submissions directly to HR with contact support from Paige Lavin, and an upcoming Employee Development Series session titled Discussing Implicit Bias, scheduled for May 29, 2025. This in-person training, led by Ray Rodriguez, will focus on recognizing and addressing interpersonal bias in the workplace, emphasizing the roles of ethics, equity, and culture.
