The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present āContinuumā by Springfield-based artist and Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) Professor Laura Anderson. āContinuumā will open on Sept. 26 and run through Oct. 17. A reception for this exhibition will be held at the gallery from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26. This event is free and open to the public. |

Arthur Figuiere Named Assistant Coach for UIS Tennis Program

Arthur Figuiere enters the 2024-25 school year as the UIS tennis program's assistant coach after volunteering with the team in 2023-24. He has joined Head Coach Ross Graham on the staff.
"We could not be more excited to have Arthur join our tennis program at UIS!" said Graham. "He brings a wealth of experience as an outstanding player for us two years ago and as a volunteer assistant last year. He will be a valuable asset to the UIS tennis program!"

Volleyball Continues Tournament Play at Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational

This weekend, UIS volleyball competes at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. On Friday, the Prairie Stars play Minnesota State Mankato at 12:00 p.m. and Kentucky Wesleyan at 7 p.m. On Saturday, they face West Alabama at 9 a.m. and Thomas More at 3 p.m.
