Do you accept three year bachelor's 69ÂÜÀòapps for graduate study?

Our admission rules require that an applicant have a bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapp from a regionally accredited college or university. These accrediting agencies typically define a bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapp in the United States as requiring four years to complete. In reality, it may take longer or shorter to complete a 69ÂÜÀòapp, but the amount of work involved must be relatively the same. In the past few years, confusion has arisen as to the equivalence of the three year bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapp offered in some countries. Some are treated as equivalent to the U.S. bachelor’s 69ÂÜÀòapp, while others are not. To make this determination, UIS requires that a course-by-course evaluation be received from a member organization.

I would like to have some information about admission at UIS sent to me - who do I contact?

I have a few questions - can I make an appointment to talk to an Admission Counselor?

Appointments and Visits can be arranged by calling the Office of Admission.

I've been taking courses as a Non-Degree Seeking Student but have reached my limit

You must fill out a Non-Degree Declaration Form to continue as a Non-Degree Seeking Student or you must apply for a 69ÂÜÀòapp program.

I've been admitted - what do I do next?

Please refer to your admission packet for next steps. If you do not have that yet or have misplaced it, go to I'm Admitted! What's Next?

How do I change my entry term after I submitted an application?

Visit your to defer your application one time (up to one year). Applicants need to submit the deferral form prior to the start of the term for which they applied in order to avoid reapplication.

How do I check my application status?

Students who have applied online can .

What is tuition at UIS?

Check our tuition rates & fees

Am I able to waive any fees and assessments?
With the exception of the Student-to-Student Grant Fee and the Green Fee, all other fees and assessments are mandatory. Requests to waive the Student-to-Student Grant Fee and/or the Green Fee must be submitted by the posted deadline each semester. After that deadline, those fees can no longer be waived. To view the deadline date (and other important deadlines), please refer to the applicable semester information on the registration information page.
I’m registered for all online classes, but my tuition bill is showing on-campus charges (like the Student Union Fee). Why am I being charged these fees?
In order to qualify for E-Tuition, students must be enrolled in 100% online courses AND be admitted to an online, 69ÂÜÀòapp-seeking program. If one of these conditions does not apply, then students are assessed according to the on-campus billing structure. Note: A per hour Online Academic Support Fee will be assessed to ALL students enrolled in an online course, regardless of their academic program. Visit our Tuition page to review information related to tuition, fees, and assessments.
